“Vikram Vedha” Hindi remake to have Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan will be sharing screen space in Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil super hit film “Vikram Vedha”. The film will be helmed by the original director, the husband and wife duo – Pushkar and Gayathri. It is expected to be a super special project for Hrithik Roshan as it marks the actor’s 25th film.

The Tamil film, written and directed by Pushkar and Gayatri was released in 2017. The Hindi remake had been the talk of the town ever since it was announced, and fans had been eagerly waiting to know who would step into the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi and R. Madhavan. While the Tamil movie starred Vijay Sethupathi and R. Madhavan, and both the actors had put on an exemplary performance, for the Hindi version the names of many A-listers were considered over a period of time. Putting the speculations aside, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan have come on board to play the lead roles in the film. The Hindi remake will be co-produced by Y Not Studios along with Reliance Entertainment and Neeraj Pandey’s Plan C Studios.

Hrithik will play the role of a gangster, and Saif will play the role of a devout cop. The shooting will begin this summer, and pre-production of the film is currently in works and going in full swing. The title of Hindi adaptation however is yet to be finalized.

The “War” actor, Hrithik Roshan, has been preparing for the film for the past few months, and is on a strict diet with extensive training with the target of losing 3000 calories a day. On the personal front, the actor is clearing his busy schedules before he goes on the sets of “Vikram Vedha.”

Hrithik Roshan has a number of upcoming projects in his kitty. After “Vikram Vedha”, the actor has his digital debut with Hotstar; “Fighter” with Deepika Padukone; and Rakesh Roshan’s “Krrish 4”. Hrithik is also in talks for Madhu Mantena’s “Ramayana”, and also the sequel to “War”. Saif Ali Khan on the other hand has Adipurush, Bhoot Police and Bunty Aur Babli 2 lined up.
